Dubi Energies and KKLM Enterprise Partner to Advance Industrial Waste Management Across Southern Africa

waste management

Dubi Energies has entered into a strategic partnership with Mozambique-based KKLM Enterprise Lda to deliver specialised industrial waste management solutions to the growing energy, mining and industrial sectors in Mozambique and across Southern Africa.

The partnership brings together Dubi’s 36 years of experience in the energy and environmental services sector with KKLM Enterprise’s local market knowledge, regulatory understanding and established presence in Mozambique.

The collaboration represents an important step in Dubi’s wider African expansion strategy and establishes Mozambique as a key operating base for serving major industrial and energy projects across the region.

Building a Strong Operational Presence in Mozambique

As part of its expansion into Southern Africa, Dubi has completed its corporate registration in Mozambique and is developing its operational presence in Pemba, Cabo Delgado Province.

Pemba is strategically positioned close to Mozambique’s major offshore gas developments and the supporting industrial and logistics ecosystem emerging around the country’s LNG sector.

Establishing an operational base in Pemba will allow Dubi and its local partners to respond more effectively to the environmental and waste management requirements of energy, mining and industrial operators.

The partnership with KKLM Enterprise strengthens this strategy by combining international technical experience with local knowledge and execution capability.

Combining International Experience With Local Expertise

Dubi has built extensive experience providing specialist services to the oil and gas industry over more than three decades.

Through its operations, the company has developed capabilities in areas including industrial and drilling waste management, solids control, tank cleaning and related environmental services.

KKLM Enterprise, meanwhile, brings experience within the Mozambican market, including industrial services, water treatment solutions and the supply of equipment to commercial and industrial operators.

Together, the companies intend to develop solutions that meet international operating standards while remaining adapted to the regulatory and operational realities of Mozambique.

Speaking about the partnership, Malobi Ogbechie, Global Director of Dubi Energies, said:

“To build a sustainable industrial services model in high-growth markets, international experience must be aligned with strong local market intelligence. Our partnership with KKLM provides an important platform from which we can develop long-term operations in Mozambique and across Southern Africa.”

Supporting Mozambique's Growing Energy and Industrial Sectors

Mozambique is emerging as one of Africa’s most important energy markets, supported by significant natural gas resources and major LNG developments.

The growth of these projects is expected to create increasing demand for specialised environmental services capable of supporting drilling, construction, production and wider industrial operations.

Effective waste management will be an important part of this development.

Dubi and KKLM intend to provide operators with environmentally responsible and operationally reliable solutions designed to support compliance while reducing the environmental impact associated with major industrial projects.

From Mozambique to Southern Africa

While Mozambique represents an important starting point, the partnership has been established with a broader regional ambition.

Dubi is developing its footprint across several African energy markets, and the partnership creates a platform from which the companies can pursue industrial waste management opportunities throughout Southern Africa.

Initial areas of focus include opportunities in Mozambique and Namibia, with the potential to expand into additional markets as the region’s mining, oil, gas and industrial sectors continue to develop.

The strategy is built around a simple principle: combine local partnerships and market knowledge with proven technical capability and international operating experience.

This approach allows Dubi to build sustainable operations in new markets while contributing to local content development, employment, skills transfer and the growth of domestic industrial capabilities.

Building an African Industrial Services Platform

The partnership between Dubi Energies and KKLM Enterprise represents more than an individual market entry.

It forms part of Dubi’s longer-term objective of building an African industrial and environmental services platform capable of supporting some of the continent’s largest energy and infrastructure developments.

With an expanding presence across Africa and a new operational base being developed in Pemba, Dubi is positioning itself to support the next generation of energy and industrial projects across Mozambique and the wider Southern African region.
